Privacy policy

Vael Creative is a creative agency based in New York. In this policy, "we" means Vael Creative, and "the site" means vaelcreative.com.

The contact and brief forms collect a name, a work email, a company, a brand or property URL, a message and an industry, with the page, the referring site and any campaign tags on the link.

The details go to our dashboard, where we answer and track enquiries. Resend, our email provider, sends the founders a notice.

We use them to reply, prepare for a call and follow up on the work you asked about.

Calendly takes bookings on its own pages, under its own privacy policy. It sends us the name, email, time and any campaign tags, and they reach our dashboard the same way a form does.

The chat assistant sets a visitor ID that lasts a year and stores the conversation. It sends your messages to OpenAI to write replies.

If you type a name, email, company or phone number into the chat, we save it to your visitor record, and once an email is saved the record reaches our dashboard.

Leave personal details out of the chat if you'd rather we not keep them.

The site uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to count page views, actions such as form starts and submissions, and how visitors move through a page. Google and Microsoft process that data under their own privacy policies.

The site can also load advertising measurement from Google Ads, LinkedIn and Microsoft Advertising, each off until we turn it on. None of these load before you interact with the page, and none loads if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal.

The chat assistant's visitor ID is kept in a cookie and in your browser's local storage for a year. Google Analytics and any advertising measurement in use set their own cookies.

The site keeps campaign tags, ad click identifiers and the motion pause setting in session storage, which clears when the tab closes. It keeps your privacy choice in local storage until you change it.

Some of your data goes to the services behind the site: Google for analytics, OpenAI for chat replies, Calendly for bookings, Resend for email notices, and our hosting and database providers.

We do not sell your personal information.

We have not set an automatic deletion period for enquiries, bookings or chat records. We delete them when you ask.

Email hello@vaelcreative.com to see the data we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted.

Use the control below to turn off the site's analytics and advertising tags in this browser. The site remembers the choice in local storage and stops the tags on the page you're on.

You can clear the site's cookies at any time, and Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from recording your visits. If your browser or an extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the site turns off every analytics and advertising tag.

The site is for businesses and is not directed to children.

If we change this policy, the new version goes here with a new date.
